Wheelly Cancellation Policy
At Wheelly, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair, flexible, and transparent, ensuring customers stay in control while helping us maintain reliable service.
1. Free Cancellation Window
- Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- Customers will receive a full refund to their original payment method.
2. Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Pickup
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the pickup time will incur a 25% service fee.
- The remaining balance will be refunded.
3. Last-Minute or Same-Day Cancellations
- Cancellations made within 2 hours of the pickup time will be charged 50% of the total booking cost.
4. No-Show Policy
A booking will be marked as a no-show if:
- The customer does not arrive within 1 hour after the scheduled pickup time and
- No communication or request for time extension is received.
No-shows are charged the full booking amount and are non-refundable.
5. Early Returns
- Customers may return a vehicle before the agreed time.
- However, early returns do not qualify for partial refunds, as the vehicle has been reserved for the full duration.
6. Modifying a Booking
- Changes to booking times or dates are free, provided the updated vehicle is available.
- If the modification results in a higher rental cost, the customer pays the difference.
- If the modification reduces the rental cost, the difference is refunded according to the cancellation rules above.
7. Weather, Emergencies & Special Circumstances
Wheelly may offer flexible consideration or full refunds in cases of:
- Verified medical emergencies
- Severe weather or unsafe travel conditions
- System errors or platform issues
Decisions will be made at Wheelly's discretion.
